A salute to the tomboys of the world with some great images from Life Magazine. Cause, let's be honest, Tomboys do it best. (All photos property of Life Magazine)

Here's a little sneak peek from Myne's Fall 2012 Look Book. The perfect fabrics, the attention to detail and the classic styling that will keep their garments in your closet for years to come; Myne knows how it's done. Most of the items pictured will be arriving in our shop very soon! (The silk neon yellow blouse in the last photo is one of my current favorite things in this world!)

On a gorgeous, 80 degree Saturday I had the pleasure of loading up some of my favorite ladies and traveling to my parent's farm in Corvallis, Oregon. Situated on 200 acres in the fertile Willamette Valley, it's my ideal place to get away from society and even catch a few rays.
It also doesn't hurt that my Father is an avid vintage car collector. For the photo shoot I chose my Mother's 1952 MG TD as it is beautiful, pristine and lush with history. My Father purchased the rusty frame when I was a kid. I watched as he mail-ordered metric tools into his shop and re-built it entirely from the ground up. Gone are its days as a racing car hugging the curves of a dirt track, tossing endless amounts of dust into the driver's goggles. This car is restored and retired, enjoying a life of peace and quiet.

Of course it wouldn't be a Victory photo shoot without our mascot and partner in crime, Benny! He's always there to wander into shots, beg the models for scraps and insist on belly rubs every 5 minutes.

Be sure to check out the full look book as it drops soon, and don't miss out on our fresh end of summer mark downs happening now!

We've launched! It's been a few months in the making, but the day is finally here. And this is just the beginning!
We aim to bring you quality clothing, accessories and housewares at prices even the most frugal will salute. Whether you're dressing up for drinks with friends or going casual for a bike ride around town, we've got you covered. Most of our products are made in the USA, and many in Oregon. Local design and manufacturing is something we are very passionate about supporting and we hope you are as well! We also love discovering and supporting young, up-and-coming labels, so expect new brands to appear regularly.
For our launch, we wanted to do an editorial photo shoot that captured both the beauty of Oregon and the amazing garments from one of our favorite labels, Pretty Penny Stock. That, and shooting editorial photos is always a great excuse to fill up a car with friends and head out into the wilderness. I was fortunate enough to spend the day in gorgeous Oxbow Park (just outside of Portland) with photographer and all around best mate Cara, my partner Daniel and our model, the amazing Melissa.
After a quick pit stop at Meat Cheese Bread (get the breakfast burritos!), we rolled into Oxbow Park just as the sun began peeking out of the clouds. It then promptly disappeared for the rest of the day - that's spring in Oregon after all! Of course, the silver lining was that an overcast sky gives the best light for a photo shoot! We began by scouting a few locations, and once we found one we loved we set off to reach it!
A few winding trails (and brief rain shower) later, we ended up at the top of a steep path leading down to a rocky beach on the Sandy River (by way of scaling a few fallen old growth tree trunks.) We heeded the warning signs posted at the trailhead for the 'rock people' living in 'cosmic peace' on the river bank. There must have been hundreds of rock stacks, and I'm proud to say that we didn't accidentally disrupt the 'cosmic peace' even once.
After hiking back up from the beach without losing anything to the Sandy rapids, we packed up and headed home. We left the wilderness with some great shots, plenty of laughs and enough hiking to burn off those breakfast burritos.
Enjoy a few of the outtakes from our trip, and keep checking in for more shoots that will surely be happening often!
Oh, and before I forget... of course, the clothes! On Melissa is the Penny Sweater, which is the perfect weight for spring. We paired it with the bold lines of the Penny Muse Shirt for a touch of added class. Throw on your favorite denim and you're perfectly styled for any Spring day.
